My son is in 6th form and throughout school life I have bought black wide fitting shoes and they have lasted very little time coming away at the sole… Etc. I usually spend 35/45 pound but got fed up of sending back or complaining about quality. These shoes are excellent had many months now and no sign of splits or coming away. No scuffs nothing to complain about at all. The wide fit is great. He has had no sore ankles or anything from initially wearing. They still look in excellent condition

This is a great work shoe, it’s comfy with a great insole and looks the part. My last pair lasted around 2 years of office wear, so i’d guess some people may get between 1-3 years use from it unless you’re never off your feet.The reason I got a second pair, no other shoe is quite as comfy for me and the ortholite insert is fantastic.

Sad to report thatnthesenshoes give severe blisters.Never had this before with any shoe. The blistering is on the sole at the front under what I believe you would call the cuboid bone or as I would say the padded area at the base of the big toe…Very painful.Think this is caused because the sole is padded and made of a nonleather material. I have noticed my feet are a lot sweatier in thses shies than previous all leather types.I can’t recommend. Shame they seem smart and look like they would be reasonably hard wearing.** Update** the blisters stopped after the shoes had broken however the inner is the issue as it is a synthetic that doesn’t feel very breathable. They do look smart and are well cushioned so no longer a 1* review. They will do for now but next time I’ll buy something with a proper leather inner.

I’ve previously owned a pair and was more than pleased with the durability of the entire shoe.Scuffs reduced to nothing with a wipe and then shinning with a quick polish.Cushion inside provides the best comfort for years and have walked miles at a time without wishing I had trainers. Also great driving shoes for long periods of time.Sole had only started notably wearing after years which would probably last another year and only replaced them as left the last pair at a hotel.Love the elasticated slits at the sides as adds more motion to your movement, have owned a pair without and their is a difference.New pair seem to have the same quality and build so would happily recommend especially at this price point. I’ve owned many others that don’t get daily wear and cost well over double the amount which although have great leather uppers are not as comfortable and soles won’t take that type of wear.

These went back as the size I picked it down not mentioned these are very narrow.I have 2 sons with same shoes size but thin and wide foot. None of them were able to put this shoe on their foot , and they are not even adults , are kids 13 and 17. Very slim design to be honest
